Active Computer Support is a Computer Shop and Service Centre for all types of computers and computer accessories. We are located in Blackheath, in the beautiful Blue Mountains on the outskirts of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. The Shop is open six days a week (Mon to Sat) from 9am to 5pm . The Service Centre is open the same hours by appointment.
Our Shop sells a range of 'Systems' including Tablets, Laptops, Desktops and Servers, 'Parts' including hard disks and memory, 'Accessories' including monitors and speakers, 'Protection Equipment' including UPS and surge protector power boards, 'Surveillance Equipment' including indoor or outdoor cameras and network recorders, 'File servers' including QNAP 2 and 4 hard disk units and custom made file servers, 'Software' including operating systems, applications and utilities, 'Networking Equipment' including routers, print servers and wifi extenders, 'Printers & MFCs' from manufacturers like Canon and Brother, 'Cartridges and Toners' including a selection of genuine Brother, Canon, Epson, HP and Lexmark cartridges, 'Toys' including solar remote controlled cars and bubble makers, 'Electronic Gifts' including car and camping equipment and a variety of meters, 'Media' like writeable CDs & DVDs plus sleeves.
We have competent Professional Service Staff who are Electrical Engineers and very experienced IT Consultants. In our Service Centre, we do upgrades, set-up and repairs on desktops, servers, laptops and tablets, we design, build, configure or fix simple or complicated networks and we design and build custom-made desktops and servers. We have a thorough knowledge and hence can service Mac, Linux and Windows machines. We can do specialist programming with or without gui's and design, administer, host and build websites either informational or on-line shop based.
Our Internet Access has five computers for office use and printing and 2 wireless networks if you bring your own computer. Our Training Facilities are comprehensive with classes of between 1 and 10 people. We run training workshops on topics from the general, like how to set up and use your laptop or tablet, to the more advanced like how to edit and process sound files.
